Job Description

As a Field Clinical Specialist in the Advanced Patient Monitoring division, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and support for our highly innovative technologies in Hemodynamic Monitoring in hospitals across Switzerland. Your role will involve educating and training healthcare professionals on the use of medical devices, including during surgical procedures and in the ICU, ensuring safe and effective adoption. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets by collaborating closely with the sales team and driving product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned territory sales targets through effective clinical support, customer engagement, product adoption, and close collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Provide clinical support for the implementation, adoption, and optimization of Advanced Patient Monitoring solutions, including hands-on support during surgical procedures in the operating room and patient care in the intensive care unit.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, clinical training, and education programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Support product launches, implementations, evaluations, and trial placements in hospitals and healthcare institutions.
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to identify and develop business opportunities through clinical expertise and value-based discussions.
  • Participate in customer meetings, workshops, presentations, scientific congresses, and industry events.
  • Develop and implement customer-specific clinical solutions and monitoring concepts that improve patient care and workflow efficiency.
  • Address clinical and application-related inquiries and support the resolution of customer issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Technical Service, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer activities, projects, and opportunities within CRM and company systems.
  • Stay current on clinical evidence, guidelines, market trends, and developments in critical care and patient monitoring.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or professional qualification in Nursing, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline.
  • Several years of clinical experience, preferably in Intensive Care, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, or Hemodynamic Monitoring.
  • Experience working within hospital environments and a strong understanding of clinical workflows.
  • Ability to communicate complex clinical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent presentation, training, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and service-oriented mindset.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to support sales activities and communicate clinical value propositions effectively.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and solution-oriented working style.
  • High level of initiative, flexibility, and willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Fluency in German and English; French is considered a strong advantage.
  • High integrity and commitment to compliance, quality, and ethical business practices.
