Job Description

Purpose of Job

  • Toproviding Instrument and application training to BD Bioscience customersin Thailand

  • To support the Sales Team inidentifyingmarket opportunities andassistingto actualize market potential.

  • Positioning BDB products and technology through presentations, product demonstrations, workshops,seminarsetc. in alignment with BD values, businessobjectivesand marketing strategy.

Application and Training Support 

  • Provide on-site Instrument and Applications training on BD Biosciences’ cell analysis range of products to ensure a high level of end-user satisfaction. 

  • To attend and timely resolve customer queries on BDB products and related applications. 

  • Inclined to learn and improve technical knowledge and skills on existing and new BD Biosciences products. 

  • Plan and organize training programs for internal team/account managers in the assigned territory to raise and strengthen the technical bar and capability on product knowledge and applications of BD Bioscience products. 

Marketing and Sales support 

  • Maintain active dialogue and interactions with key opinion leadership network and prominent organizations in flow cytometry, immunology and cell biology. 

  • Understanding requirements of customer’s experiment and provide appropriate technical and product solutions through discussions, presentations and/or product/application demonstrations to positively impact sales and increase productivity. 

  • Co-ordinate / support / lead awareness activities such as seminars, conferences, workshops etc. in alignment with BDB marketing strategy.  

Monitoring and Collaboration support 

  • Responsible for providing technical direction and support to customers on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of BDB products and serves as the customer contact by collaborating to resolve the technical and service-related problems.  

  • Monitor accounts to ensure that problems are being corrected and customer satisfaction levels are maintained at high levels. Research, troubleshoot, follow-up, and resolve account inquiries and problems. 

  • Works closely with the corporate contacts related to technical support, marketing, QA/QC, and R&D to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow-up; and the designated service engineers to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues. 

  • Support scientific evaluation studies.  

  • Prepare and provide a monthly report to supervisor on tech support, training and marketing activities. Ensure timely submission of post-installation training and evaluation reports. 

  • Continuously track competitor activity and scan the market environment for developing trends and practices and emerging business opportunities. 

  • Tracking of customer feedback on product quality and escalating product issues to appropriate authority within the organization 

  • Work in coordination with sales, service and other application associates towards achieving the business objectives. 

  • Support a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

  • Holding Bachelor Degree in Medical/Science related.

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Floy Cytometry.

  • Previous experience and demonstrated competence in flow cytometry and related applications (essential).

  • Analytical problem solving

  • Presentation and teaching skills 

  • Excellent communication and organization skills 

  • Results oriented and highly motivated to succeed 

  • Enthusiastic and independent 

  • Willingness to travel
