The Preventive Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for developing, scheduling, and optimizing all preventive and predictive maintenance activities within the facility to ensure high equipment reliability and minimal downtime. This role serves as the central point of coordination between planned maintenance and the manufacturing unit team to ensure maintenance plans are well-integrated with operational priorities. The coordinator will maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensure all work orders are documented on time and ensure spare parts availability in collaboration with tool crib. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies and procedures, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Provide leadership and guidance to preventative maintenance team to ensure planned maintenance activities on the manufacturing equipment are executed on-time and in the most efficient way.
2. Maintains and supervises all equipment maintenance records, both computerized and hard copy files in a secured and organized area.
3. Proactively manage all elements of preventative maintenance spend (including spare parts, labor, and services) according to Budget.
4. Deliver an optimum utilization of resources and spare parts with minimum impact on asset availability.
5. Provide leadership for Total Productive Maintenance Activities (TPM).
6. Support the organization and preparation of spare parts and other applicable materials required to complete maintenance tasks for planned maintenance periods and equipment rebuild program.
7. Review failure history and tendencies to adjust maintenance frequency.
8. Communicate effectively any situation or critical activity that puts on risk the correct equipment operation.
9. Other duties as required to support business needs.
