Job Description Summary
The Sr. Manager of Operational Excellence leads Lean transformation across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for building and sustaining a Lean Management System, driving cultural change, and embedding continuous improvement practices to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Lean strategies across the site.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and value stream mapping.
- Coach leaders and teams on Lean tools (5S, PDCA, etc.).
- Establish visual management systems and standard work.
- Drive employee engagement in continuous improvement.
- Support strategic projects focused on operational performance.
- Apply Six Sigma tools to complement Lean initiatives.
- Drive Lead Year-over-year productivity and cost improvements.
- Lead initiatives that boost associate engagement in Lean activities.
- Improve safety, quality, and delivery performance through operational excellence.
- Track and report progress on OpEx goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business (Master’s preferred).
- 5-7 years in manufacturing and Lean leadership roles.
- Lean Certification required; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven success in leading cultural transformation and frontline engagement.
- Bilingual English & Spanish.
