About the role

The Sales and Application Specialist will be responsible for providing product and applications support for the BD Diagnostics Solutions (DS) - Microbiology and Molecular solutions & promote product portfolio and strategies in-line with the company strategies.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide product and applications support for end users and distributors throughout the region.
  • Lead activities and strategic engagements with key accounts including presentations to customers and KOL’s
  • Build and Influence relationships with key stakeholders and ensure customer relationship management.
  • Gather market information on competitor activities & trends, identify market opportunities and communicate them to the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Support Sales and Marketing team with new launches and participate in related workshops, seminars & exhibitions.
  • Provide strong after sales support and troubleshooting for the BD DS solutions and ensuring customer support at all phases of project implementation.
  • Support marketing activities and strategies towards product segmentation and expansion by market mapping to penetrate segments based on sound clinical mentorship and evidence aligned with strategies.
  • Develop the market & ensure sustainable revenue growth in line with the company growth plan.
  • Drive sales-effectiveness by implementing company tools.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences.
  • Prior sales experience in a healthcare background.
  • Previous experience in Diagnostic field is a nice to have
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer-centric with strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Team player
