About the Role

At Waters, quality drives everything we do. We are seeking a Distribution & Fulfillment Quality Leader to join our team and raise global quality standards. This position allows you to offer strategic quality guidance throughout our wide global distribution and logistics network. You will ensure product integrity from manufacturing to final delivery!

This opportunity exists at the important convergence of Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations. You'll be responsible for establishing and maintaining reliable quality systems that serve our distribution centers, third-party logistics collaborators, and fulfillment operations worldwide. Your efforts will be vital in promoting regulatory adherence, risk control, and continuous enhancement activities, alongside supporting the growth and optimization of our international supply chain structure.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced quality professional to influence global operations significantly. The position requires leading central initiatives and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve quality performance throughout a complex international supply chain. Your leadership will be critical in encouraging conformity, risk management, and ongoing improvement projects while aiding the growth and optimization of our global distribution network.

Main Responsibilities will include

  • Directing quality control for international distribution and fulfillment activities, maintaining product integrity, regulatory adherence, and operational excellence throughout the supply chain.
  • Developing, implementing, and continuously improving Quality Management System (QMS) processes to support distribution centers, fulfillment operations, and logistics networks.
  • Establishing and managing Quality Agreements with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, distributors, and external partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP), including cold chain management, transportation monitoring, and warehousing controls.
  • Leading investigations and approvals for deviations, product damage events, shipping errors, complaints, CAPAs, and other quality events.
  • Supporting internal, external, and regulatory audits, and sustaining relevant quality certifications, including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 where applicable.
  • Driving strategic quality improvement initiatives and partnering with global collaborators to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Developing quality metrics and reporting, supporting distribution licensing requirements, and building organizational capability through training and development initiatives.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Quality, Engineering, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar field.
  • Extensive background in Quality, Compliance, Supply Chain Quality, or Distribution Quality in a regulated industry.
  • Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and established quality standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.
  • Experience leading quality assurance for distribution operations, warehouse functions, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Knowledge of Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP), transportation quality systems, and risk management methods.
  • Verified ability in directing audits, investigations, CAPAs, and sustained improvement efforts.
  • Strong collaborator management, communication, and project leadership skills within global, cross-functional environments.
  • A proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused approach, with a passion for driving quality excellence and business performance.
