About the role
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our BD Technical Service unit. In this role, you will report to the Services Sales Team Lead North and play a crucial part in helping customers find the best service solutions for their needs. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop or enhance your sales skills while making a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector. Your primary responsibilities will include converting, renewing, and upselling service contracts through phone-based customer interactions, all within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, managing calls and emails efficiently.
- Identify, qualify, and secure service sales opportunities, working within established processes and tools.
- Prepare and negotiate customer proposals, ensuring agreements align with their requirements.
- Manage service contracts by preparing quotations, tender documents, and renewals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate time and material quotations for non-contract customers.
- Collect purchase orders and ensure timely invoicing of service contracts to achieve financial objectives.
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with customers and enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain accurate records in tools such as Salesforce, ServiceMax, and other relevant systems.
About you
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Sales experience in any industry is valued; exposure to the healthcare sector is an advantage.
- Ambitious, determined, and proactive in reaching targets.
- Confident working independently and in collaboration with a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, with familiarity in Salesforce or ServiceMax being a plus.
- Meticulous and organised, with a commitment to accuracy and punctuality in all tasks.
- Language requirements: English, French & Dutch
