Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

As Smart Recovery Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business growth within new and existing accounts by identifying opportunities and closing deals, while also analyzing performance gaps and executing short-term regional strategies to meet sales targets. Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) within BD's medical segment, aligns with BD's smart connected care approach. The ideal candidate will reside North New Jersey.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience.

  • Medical devices industry experience is required.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills are required.

  • Strong enterprise-level selling skills are preferred.

About You:

  • Ability to understand BU strategy, selling model, medical device industry, competitor offerings and region selling environment.

  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders, including c-suite executives and administrative leadership.

  • Able to navigate multi-layered decision-making structures within large hospitals and IDNs.

  • Good understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to APM medical products is preferred.

  • Understands customer needs and explains APM product features compared to competitor offerings

  • Travel up to 40%. Northern NJ Morristown, Hackensack, Newark. Territory has a 2-hour radius.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards.

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $78,125.00 - $129,230.00 USD Annual Base + Commission, and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications.
