Supervise and manage personnel and systems within the Quality Management System. Ensures compliance through process manufacturing conformance and product compliance auditing. Facilitate the corrective action and failure analysis process. Process delineation studies and statistical analysis. Support internal documentation.

Essential Job Functions:
Performs Quality Engineering activities to support product transfers from pilots and acquisition. Also provides operator training, validation of process lines, development and execution of protocols for validation
Assesses operational control via audits and SPC techniques
Identifies causal relationship between observed failures, complaints and current manufacturing techniques. Product analysis and process evaluations are required to fulfill this requirement
Drafts appropriate documents to support the Quality System. Supports the document control and project management systems
Generates component specifications
Supports the vendor qualifications/ assessment requirements of the facility
Supports the calibration and drawing control systems regarding their quality requirements
Defines manufacturing processes through process studies employing advance statistical techniques
Performs all duties required for compliance with the Corporate complaint system
Conducts internal GMP audits
Makes decisions on product quality based on evaluations
Manages Quality standards development
Assures is trained before performing any task
Uses the required clothes, personal and security protective equipment according to the requirements of its operation
Complies with the cGMP’s, Quality Standards and established policies and/or procedures
Executes other duties assigned by supervisor
Basic Qualifications:
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and must have good communication skills both oral and written
Team work oriented
Basic knowledge on statistical Quality Engineering Techniques
Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Five (5) or more years of process development and /or Quality technology experience.

Work Environment:
Hours of operation are flexible and vary depending on job requirements. Typical workweek is 40 hours with additional/variable hours for specific work periods and projects. Specific works days and hours are flexible and may change with advance notice
The nature of the work requires occasional exposure to chemicals, noise. Occasional exposure to machinery and non-ionizing radiation.
