Job Description
To strengthen the Waters Biosciences Team in the Nordics, we are currently looking for a talented individual to join our Team as Technical Sales Representative in Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our flow cytometry solutions, including instruments, reagents, informatics, and services, to clinical, academic, and biotech customers in Norway. The role is field-based in Norway, and you will be closely working with a dedicated Sales Team, reporting to Waters Biosciences Nordic Sales Manager. Your goal is to drive growth in the region through customer engagement and strategic sales activities.
Responsibilities:
- Selling Waters Biosciences (formerly BD Biosciences) flow cytometry solutions, including instruments, reagents, informatics, and services to customers in Norway.
- Achieve sales growth targets by aligning with the company’s strategies and territory planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, while identifying new opportunities.
- Represent the company in key customer events and exhibitions, organize on-site customer meetings and demonstrations, and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports in CRM systems, sharing insights from the sales territory to the business.
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Support customers with product knowledge and technical expertise during the sales process, and via strong cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Requirement:
- MSc or PhD in Life Sciences.
- Strong experience (5+ years) in capital equipment sales is highly desirable. However, we will consider candidates with strong flow cytometry expertise and commercial mindset, looking to transition into sales.
- Practical hands-on experience with flow cytometry.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
- Hunter mindset, capable of working independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams, while driving towards set business goals.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (on average up to 80% of the time)
Location:
Field based in Norway, preferably in Greater Oslo area. Other major Norwegian cities with airport access will also be considered.
