Job Description

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Manager to join our team at BD Czechia, SRO. This role is responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our medical technology products within the Czech Republic.
  • Preferred location: South & Eastern Czech Republic (Brno, Ostrava, České Budějovice areas).


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, purchasing departments, and hospital administration.
  • Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to promote BD's product portfolio and solutions.
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas and revenue targets for designated accounts and product lines.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, clinical, technical support) to ensure seamless customer experience and product implementation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales pipeline information in the CRM system.
  • Attend industry conferences, workshops, and sales meetings as required.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and account status to management.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales or account management experience, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Czech and English.
  • Strong understanding of the Czech healthcare market and procurement processes.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customer profiles.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Czech Republic.
