Document Control Technician is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining controlled documents to ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards. This role supports the creation, revision, distribution, and tracking of documentation across the quality system, assists with change control processes, and collaborates with various departments to ensure timely and accurate document handling.

Functions and Responsibilities
1. Control, handle, file, and distribute documents in accordance with internal procedure.
2. Manage the document control system and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
3. Maintain and update databases related to document control and validation activities (as applicable).
4. Manage the ERP system for product Bill of Materials (BOM) and special engineering orders.
5. Generate and process changes to Product Work Orders in the ERP system.
6. Review and approve change requests in the electronic document management system under document control approval step.
7. Create change requests (CRs) in the electronic document management system.
8. Handle and distribute Special Production Orders (SPOs), Planned Deviations (PDs), and Quality Alerts.
9. Support departmental projects related to document control.
10. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor, aligned with business priorities and strategic needs.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
1.Technical grade or 2 years of college degree minimum or equivalent experience. 2. Work experience in Document Control and/or data entry in manufacture environment (maquiladora).
Knowledge and Skills:
1. English 30% (Minimum), Spanish 100%
2. Knowledge in software as MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
3. Responsible, Dynamic, Teamwork, Initiative, Customer Service, Analysis, Work Under Pressure.
