Job Description

Functions and Responsibilities
1.    Direct and Maintain Supplier Management Program.
2.    Ensure all suppliers are properly qualified.
3.    Develop and execute scheduled audits, following up on quality issues.
4.    Control of quality costs, including incoming sampling and personnel costs.
5.    Supervise, and give guidance to Associate Supplier Quality Engineer.
6.    Ensure full compliance with policies, procedures, QSR and ISO.
7.    Assume responsibility for proper documentation and revision control to meet FDA and company established standards.
8.    Provide support on teams as required.
9.    Solve the manufacturing and Quality problems, ensuring improvements with suppliers.
10.    Participate in third party audits (corporate, ISO and FDA).
11.    Design methods and procedures to improve inspection and workflow.
12.    Qualify and requalify suppliers according to changes in facilities, processes or tooling.
13.    Improve processes and quality systems with suppliers.
14.    Initiate lean thinking methods on inspection and workflow.
15.    Identify and implement Cost Improvement Projects.
16.    Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor, aligned with business priorities and strategic needs.
Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s degree desired) or equivalent in experience.
2. 2 or more years related experience in similar position as a minimum in the QA field.
Knowledge and Skills

1. Communication, leadership, and project management skills, with problem-solving abilities.
2. Knowledge of GMP, Quality Assurance, QSR, and ISO.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
4. Verbal and written communication skills in English (desirable).
