BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.
At BD, we’re looking for sales professionals that are not content with the status quo, we are building a sales team that want to win and grow the BD market share to Advance the World of HealthTM. Strong command of SFDC CRM is a core requirement at BD. Sales professionals don’t just use SFDC—they master it. At BD, if it's not in SFDC, it doesn't exist. We expect every sales associate to use SFDC daily and offer elite support and training to help you succeed.
About the role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with all customers in order to secure orders and improve sales opportunities for the BDI PI (Peripheral Intervention) products within their area of responsibility.
They will develop new business by identifying key accounts, setting appointments and making effective presentations on behalf of BD. In addition, they will coordinate promotional activities, educational programs, clinical trials, new product launches, and other related events. The KAM will report directly to Area Sales Manager – Vascular business
Main responsibilities will include:-
- To achieve sales target for assigned accounts through regular customer visits.
- Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with corporate strategies to achieve profitability and growth targets for each account under their control.
- Ensure achievement of sales budgets and other financial targets set for each account.
- Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with all customers and decision makers to ensure their continued use of the Company’s products and services.
- Maintain detailed records on all accounts including customer information, purchasing protocols, selling techniques, and market trends.
- Provide feedback to the Marketing Department on customer needs, preferences, and competitor activity.
- Attend conferences and seminars to stay current on industry trends and changes.
About You :-
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a healthcare related field. Certification in marketing or an MBA is a nice to have.
- Minimum of three years relevant experience in medical device sales or marketing.
- Experience in intervention radiology or vascular surgery is a MUST
- Consistent track record in achieving sales targets and meeting financial objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly motivated with an ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region.
