BD’s Specimen Management business is a global leader in preanalytics, providing billions of high-quality devices annually to support reliable diagnostic outcomes. These advanced technologies enhance the safe and efficient handling of diagnostic specimens, empowering clinicians to make informed decisions across a wide range of healthcare scenarios—from routine checkups to disease diagnosis and treatment. Central to its offerings are BD Vacutainer® products for blood and urine collection, designed to ensure accurate results throughout the testing process.
About the role
The Product Specialist will drive sales growth and provide expert clinical support for BD’s Specimen Management portfolio. This role is crucial for fostering strong customer relationships, ensuring product adoption, and contributing to improved patient outcomes across Riyadh and the Central region.
Location: Riyadh
Main responsibilities will include:
Achieve sales targets and drive growth within the assigned territory
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share and identify new opportunities
Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and clinical training to healthcare professionals
Provide ongoing clinical support, including troubleshooting and technical guidance
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (KOLs, procurement, clinicians)
Monitor market trends and customer needs, sharing insights with internal teams
Collaborate cross-functionally (marketing, technical support, customer service) to enhance customer experience
Represent BD at conferences, workshops, and industry events
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and administrative documentation
Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
About you
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific/medical field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy)
Previous nursing or laboratory background is highly desirable
3–5 years of experience in medical device sales, with clinical exposure preferred
Strong knowledge of the Saudi healthcare market and regulatory environment
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Solid clinical understanding relevant to BD products and applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
