The Sr. Manager, BD Excellence LATAM will be responsible to drive the adoption and execution of the BD Excellence vision and strategy in LATAM to support structured growth and innovation across various business and functional areas.

Senior Manager, BD Excellence LA

Key Responsibilities:

Owns the deployment of core BD Excellence tools across the assigned Region.
• Develops and implements a strategic roadmap for process excellence and continuous improvement within the assigned Region.
• Aligns process improvement initiatives with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of process improvement initiatives. Use data-driven insights to drive decisionmaking and continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Manage change effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Serve as the champion of core tools, taking a handson approach to teach AND for top priorities facilitate the use of the tool across the assigned Region.
• Be a Gemba leader who spends significant time in front of teams, including facilitating and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Proactively champions a culture of data driven decision making including training, coaching, and mentoring associates on best practice methodologies and toolsets.

Required Experience:

  • Advanced and in-depth knowledge of Process and Lean techniques

  • 15+ years experience working with lean and continuous improvement tools.

  • Experience facilitating kaizens, achieving results while bringing people together as a team.

  • Ability to teach Kaizen, Problem Solving, Visual Management and Strategy Deployment Process

  • Experience facilitating kaizens, achieving results while bringing people together as a team.

  • Proven experience driving cultural change within a matrix organization.

  • Experience utilizing robust standard work.

  • Experience presenting to leadership in an accurate and concise manner.

  • Strong leadership - demonstrated ability to effectively motivate teams, hire exceptional talent, making timely hiring and firing decisions, and drive influence across a matrix organization.

  • Proven experience driving cultural change within a matrix organization.

  • Can demonstrate experience of using Lean to drive results throughout career.

  • Can demonstrate career progression, drive to win and a true belief in Lean.

  • Experience in relevant Region required.

Skills & Education Profile:

  • Skills:
    • Mastery of BD Excellence tools, e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Problem Solving, Visual & Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, Hoshin Kanri
    • Mastery of Commercial Excellence tools, e.g. Win Room, Funnel
    management, SFDC, Marketo, Veeva, etc.
    • Project management practices and application of practices

  • Soft Skills:
    • Sense of competition & drive to win
    • Team player
    • High level of curiosity & learning agility
    • Strong situational awareness

  • Education:
    • University degree required
    • MBA Preferred

  • Conversational English and Spanish

  • Certifications & Knowledge:
    • Lean, Six sigma certification
    • Knowledge of regulatory framework
    for Medical Devices in region

The position can be based in Brazil or Mexico.
