The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving direct sales efforts with a strong focus on new account development and market expansion. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of the diagnostics industry and a proven ability to build lasting customer relationships.Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Lead direct sales efforts with a strong focus on new account development and market expansion.
- Identify, approach, and convert potential customers in target segments.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to enter new markets and achieve revenue objectives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals and laboratories.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, technical support, logistics) to support sales execution.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to support business planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the healthcare, diagnostics, or medical device industry.
- Proven success in new business development and customer acquisition.
- Strong understanding of clinical laboratory workflows and diagnostic platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed.
- Experience in Solution selling (not product selling) preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with molecular diagnostics or microbiology-related products.
- Good level of competency in computer skills including MS office.
- Good English in writing and speaking preferred
