1) Commercial Data Management & Expertise
- Lead the generation, curation, and data entry processes for commercial operations data (eg. Product, Customer, and Contact records)
- Develop deep expertise in all key databases supporting the commercial/sales operations platform (e.g., SAP, SFDC, Reltio) and understand how commercial data elements are defined, created, and generated.
- Attain thorough understanding of BD processes for governing commercial operations data in SFDC, ensuring alignment and compliance across countries.
2) Data Governance, Quality & Stewardship
- Actively contribute as a member of BD’s cross‑functional data governance and stewardship community, driving standardization and consistent adoption of data rules.
- Oversee execution of regional data quality governance processes that impact Sales Operations in SFDC, ensuring adherence to policies, workflows, and approval procedures.
- Define, monitor, and drive data quality metrics for Greater Asia, enabling transparency and continuous improvement.
- Initiate and coordinate data cleansing processes with country stakeholders to remediate issues and strengthen data health.
3) Master Data Management (MDM) & Standards
- Support alignment of customer, account, and product master data standards across Greater Asia, ensuring accurate and consistent structures, hierarchies, and classifications.
- Collaborate with IT and global MDM teams on workflow enhancements and ongoing governance of MDM systems.
4) Commercial Data Operations & Data Flow Optimization
- Partner with regional and local commercial teams to ensure efficient data ingestion, validation, and integration into SFDC and downstream reporting systems.
- Translate business and customer requirements into updated data rules, process improvements, and system enhancements.
5) Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Enablement
- Serve as a trusted resource to internal stakeholders by providing clarity on commercial data definitions, standards, and processes.
- Work closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure data supports business needs and initiatives.
6) Regional Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support global / regional projects and initiatives as assigned, leveraging data expertise to support transformation, digital execution, and governance maturity.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance data processes, improve efficiency, and adopt industry best practices.
