Responsibilities

We are the people who give possibilities purpose

BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Advancing the world of health™ is our Purpose, and it’s no small feat. It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.

Job Description

We are looking for a Territory Manager – Acute Care & CAUTI Prevention to support our ambitious growth plans across the Nordics, with a primary focus on Sweden and Denmark.

This is a highly field-based role within our Urology & Critical Care business, focused on driving adoption, implementation, and commercial growth of our CAUTI prevention portfolio, including PureWick™, Bactiguard coated Foley catheters, and BD Foley Trays.

The role combines clinical expertise with commercial execution and requires someone who is comfortable leading implementation projects, influencing clinical practice change, and supporting long-term adoption within hospital environments. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver training, support behaviour change, and help hospitals improve continence care practices and patient outcomes.

Success in this role will be measured through new hospital implementations, conversion of pilot projects into long-term adoption, and commercial growth across the CAUTI prevention portfolio.

You will have full ownership of the sales and implementation journey, from identifying opportunities through to pilot execution, rollout, training, follow-up, and scale-up. The role contributes directly to reducing catheter-associated urinary tract infections, improving patient dignity and comfort, and supporting more effective continence care practices across Acute Care settings.

The position requires frequent travel across Sweden and Denmark, with approximately 70–80% of time spent in the field. You can be based anywhere in Sweden provided you are well-located to travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive adoption and implementation of PureWick™, Bactiguard coated Foley catheters, and BD Foley Trays across Acute Care environments
  • Build trusted relationships with nurses, clinicians, procurement teams, and hospital departments
  • Manage the full sales and implementation cycle, including opportunity identification, pilots, rollout, follow-up activities, and long-term adoption
  • Lead structured implementation programmes aligned with local clinical protocols and hospital workflows
  • Deliver hands-on product training and establish train-the-trainer programmes to support sustainable adoption
  • Communicate health economic value propositions, including reduction of CAUTIs, nursing time savings, reduced catheter days, and cost-of-care improvements
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across priority regions and departments in Sweden and Denmark
  • Coordinate clinical and commercial resources to support successful implementation and territory growth

Preferred Requirements:

  • Qualified nurse with clinical experience, ideally within urology, continence care, or Acute Care
  • Proven MedTech sales experience within Sweden and/or Denmark
  • Demonstrated success in product launches is desired, coupled with clinical implementation, and commercial growth within hospital environments
  • Experience working with procurement processes, tenders, and complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English
  • Comfortable working independently in a highly field-based role with frequent travel across Sweden and Denmark
