Requirements
- Professionally interact with healthcare providers to acquire medical documentation and troubleshoot customer inquiries
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of medical supplies and insurance guidelines
- Identify and professionally resolve customer service-related issues
- Collaborate with the Customer Care team to support customer service initiatives aligned with company goals
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets in accordance with efficiency measurements
- Adhere to compliance standards, including Medicare guidelines, HIPAA, and ACW
- Provide backup support to the Care Coordinator as needed
- Cultivate positive connections with healthcare providers to nurture enduring working partnerships
- Maintain a positive work environment that embodies BD's philosophy of professional excellence, teamwork, and integrity
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; one to two years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, technical procedures, and training materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external correspondence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret instructions and forecast workflow processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, database software, and call center telecommunications software
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
