Job Summary:
Implement approved strategies and programs to increase revenue and profitability in assigned region.   The TSM will develop strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within their territory.   They are accountable for achieving financial targets (revenue, profit, cash) as well as specific performance goals (e.g., market share, new product adoption).  

Region: The state of Arizona

Responsibilities:
Develops business plan aligned to the regional strategy, identifies opportunities and establishes priorities based on potential impact and likelihood of success.  

Implements plans utilizing available resources to achieve profitable growth and increase market share.  

Responds to changes in the marketplace by adjusting sales strategies and seeking out new opportunities.  

Assesses risk when making decisions and recommending actions.  

Communicates effectively with all levels of management and staff, both internally and externally.   Presents ideas clearly, concisely, and timely.

  • Maintains an intimate knowledge of products, disease states, clinical applications, competitive products, pricing, and promotion.  

  • Understands the customer decision-making process and the factors that influence it.  

  • Develops and nurtures productive relationships with clients, as well as internal and external contacts, and other healthcare practitioners.  

  • Demonstrates knowledge of self-service model and eCommerce capabilities.  

  • Builds collaborative relationships with customers, peers, and leadership.

  • Identifies key accounts and initiatives and focuses efforts on those areas with the greatest opportunity for growth.  

  • Analyzes sales data and trends to identify new business opportunities.  

  • Works closely with sales specialists and other field personnel to align resources and maximize results.

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams including marketing, training, technical support, and regulatory affairs.  

  • Effectively communicates customer needs and requirements back to the organization.

  • Monitors spending and maximizes resource allocation to achieve business objectives.  

  • Provides feedback to marketing on effectiveness of promotional programs and provides insight into local market dynamics.  

  • Makes recommendations to marketing on new products, packaging, or promotions.  

  • Manages assets within region, including inventory, equipment, and vehicles.  

  • Applies effective planning and organizational skills to create and execute action plans.  

  • Leverages selling skills to generate new business opportunities.

  • Acts as a role model and coaches others in the development of sales and interpersonal skills.  

  • Develops and maintains excellent relationships with distributors and other channel partners.  

  • Assists marketing in gathering information and input on marketing initiatives.  

  • Provides feedback on what is working and not working in the field.  

  • Generates leads for new business opportunities and presents them to marketing.  

  • Represents the organization at trade shows and other industry events.

  • Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, along with the Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.  

  • Participates in Corporate Compliance training as required.  

  • Promotes a culture of compliance throughout the organization.  

  • Encourages open communication and collaboration.  

  • Exercises sound judgment in all aspects of the job.  

  • Escalates issues and incidents appropriately.  

  • Seeks guidance and advice from supervisors, managers, and legal counsel when needed.

  • Other duties may be assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Three years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.  

  • Strong negotiation skills.  

  • Proven ability to work independently with limited direction.  

  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills.  

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients, physicians, and hospital staff.  

  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others.  

  • Proficient computer skills.  

  • Strong analytical skills.  

  • Highly adaptive to changing business environments.  

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly.  

  • Able to understand and interpret basic numerical and statistical information.  

  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
