Job Description Summary

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a strategic role in expanding market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the medical device sector. Your focus will go beyond direct sales—you will develop long-term partnerships, analyze market trends, and create business strategies that align with company objectives

Job Description

About the role

  • We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to lead the development of our breast surgery portfolio in Poland – including both reconstructive procedures covered by the National Health Fund (NFZ) and aesthetic breast surgery in the private sector. The role combines strategic market development, clinical education, and collaboration with key opinion leaders and societies. You will work closely with national and regional teams (EMEA), supporting market access, clinical activities, and long-term growth initiatives.

  • Territory: Poland (Preferred: Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź, Poznań, or another major city)

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and drive growth opportunities in breast surgery – reconstructive (public) and aesthetic (private)
  • Build relationships with plastic and oncologic surgeons, hospital decision-makers, and private clinics
  • Lead the introduction and positioning of innovative technologies within the Polish market
  • Collaborate with the marketing, medical, and clinical education teams (local and regional)
  • Organize and support professional education programs, workshops, and KOL meetings
  • Develop market access strategies with a focus on reimbursement and procedure coding (especially NFZ)
  • Act as the company’s expert in breast surgery – providing field insights, competitor analysis, and best practices
  • Represent the company at national and international congresses

About you

  • Excellent knowledge of the breast surgery landscape in Poland (clinical and market)
  • Familiarity with reconstructive procedures, aesthetic surgery trends, and the patient journey
  • Experience in working with medical societies, KOLs, and stakeholders in the surgical field
  • Deep understanding of reimbursement processes, NFZ procedures, and public hospital structures
  • Proven ability to launch and position new technologies in clinical markets
  • Strong experience in professional education (hands-on workshops, training events, advisory boards)
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute in the field
  • Fluency in Polish; very good command of English required (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally across the EMEA region
  • Medical, pharmaceutical, biological, or related degree preferred
