Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

Clinical Specialist oversees SM projects in Ukraine and Poland, positioning BD as a trusted partner to the healthcare system. With a deep understanding of client needs, strategies, and challenges, the role focuses on building strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and identifying projects aligned with client priorities. In addition, the Clinical Specialist provides expert guidance and support on the operation and value of SM solutions during implementation-enhancing clinical knowledge and driving informed decisions at the hospital level.

Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Promotion of BD Vacutainer® products and solutions – blood collection system
  • Preparing and delivering training sessions for laboratory staff and nurses on best practices in blood collection
  • Organizing and conducting training for end users and distributors
  • Leading audits of blood collection procedures
  • Providing clinical support to customers within the BD Vacutainer® portfolio
  • Collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders in laboratory medicine and nursing
  • Contributing to the development and translation of BD Vacutainer® brochures, leaflets, and catalogs
  • Monitoring and managing the complaint-handling process
  • Participating in local and international conferences
  • Supporting the sales team

About you

  • The preferred candidate should hold a degree in a scientific field such as microbiology, biology, biotechnology, laboratory medicine, pharmacy, or nursing.
  • Ideally 1–3 years of experience in the medical industry, particularly in roles focused on applications or sales — working with hospital laboratories and/or nursing staff
  • Strong technical, laboratory, scientific, or nursing background
  • Familiarity with laboratory workflows and sample management techniques is considered an additional advantage
  • Knowledge of IT systems and architecture is an additional asset
  • Good orientation on the local medical devices market and its opinion-forming environment is a plus
  • Good command of English and proficient Polish
